The Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission will meet on January 13 and 14 in Washington, DC in their first investigative hearings of the year. The media is reporting today that the Commission will bring high profile witnesses to the hearing.

From Dow Jones today,

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. chief executive Jamie Dimon, Bank of America Corp. chief executive Brian Moynihan, Morgan Stanley chairman John Mack, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. chief executive Lloyd Blankfein and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman Sheila Bair are expected to be among those testifying at the two days of hearings next week.

Panel chairman Phil Angelides, a Democrat, and vice chairman Bill Thomas, a Republican, said they also planned to bring Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to testify under oath later this year.

The Commission has a website now and will reportedly webcast their proceedings.

I'M MAD AS HELL AND WANT SOMETHING DONE WITH THIS WHOLE WALL ST. DEBACLE. THE WHOLE IDEA OF "TOO BIG TO FAIL'" IS WRONG. THE BAILOUT WAS WRONG AND NOW THE BONUSES ARE WRONG. THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER BAILED OUT WALL ST AND BECAUSE OF THIS HELP THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER RECIEVES A "SLAP IN THE FACE" BY WALL ST IN THANKS (SUCKER). WALL ST MAKE PROFITS BECAUSE TAXPAYER MONEY WAS THERE FOR THEM. GOLDMAN SACHS GOT PAID DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR FOR THE GAMBLE THEY TOOK ON DERIVITIVES. AMERICA IS THOUGHT OF AS A NATION OF SUCKERS, TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY WALL ST. I HOPE THAT THERE WILL BE REPRECUSSIONS OVER THIS AND THAT NEW REGULATIONS ARE PUT IN PLACE TO OBLITERATE THESE TYPES OF PRACTICES. I WILL BE FOLLOWING THIS COMMISSION AND HAVE A HOPE THAT GOOD WILL COME OF THIS.

I am asking as many Americans please have Tim Giethner and AIG release those emails, we as "bank owners" deserve to know what was said and who should be held accountable. How that bailout money was funneled through to other banks. We also would like to know who knew when this whole thing was headed out of control and told to be quiet, Tim Giethner needs to be honest and this administration needs to hold true to thier promise of transparency. Thank you Timon
